Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) 

The relationship between organs and the musculoskeletal system is fundamental to the philosophy of osteopathic medicine. Restrictions in any one of these areas due to injury, disease, or poor habits can have profound effects on our ability to function. These restrictions can cause neck and back pain, headaches, respiratory illnesses, and digestive disorders, among others.

Using their hands, an osteopathic physician examines your body to identify restrictions and assess imbalances. Treatment can include manual techniques but may also include injections, referrals to specialists, or prescriptions.

These medical imaging tools give your physician the ability to deliver a more precise injection; maximizing the efficacy while minimizing the risk of a misplaced injection.
